Not Feline Well?

I saw a picture on Facebook that I have totally cased.

The stamp is one I found at a garage sale.  It was not easy to cut out the tail, but I wanted it to wrap around the sentiment.

I used the new Stampin' Up! honeycomb embossing folder.  I love the look.

Round Card with Hexagonal Envelope

The hexagonal envelope is from a Sizzix Big Shot Pro die.  The die is able to cut 12" by 12" pieces of paper, which gives a die cut that is bigger also.

The envelope closes by folding the six pieces into the floret top.  Very clever design.

The card uses 4.24" Sizzix scalloped circle dies.

Whisper White, Concord Crush, River Rock, Opal Opulence, and Mellow Moss inks and papers were used.

Teeny Tiny Saying and Vintage Vogue stamps were used.

Love this!

French Foliage Birthday Center Step

I love the Stampin' Up! French Foliage set.  I used crumb cake, very vanilla, and old olive colors.

The French script stamp in this set was used as a background stamp for all of the very vanilla pieces.

Love, love, love this card!

Valentine's Cards with Heart Cups

This year we made Valentine's cards for both Patrick and Jakob.  This design was very fast and easy because of Stampin' Up's self-sticking heart cup.

Birthday Layered Punched with Butterflies

I used Cherry Cobbler, Melon Mambo, and Regal Rose with the white to create the punched layers.

The butterflies were punched and embossed with and embosslit.

Even though this is a simple looking card, it is very time intensive with the punching.  I wish there were a different way to create the delicate punches.

The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!  I used the word window punch and sponged around it.

Sympathy in Brown Tones

Stampin' Up's Thoughts and Prayers stamp set was perfect for this card.  I used the branch for two corners, then filled in the space in the opposite corners.

I used soft suede and crumb cake for the soft brown tones.  The large oval and curly label punches were used for the sentiment. Lots of bling were used on the flowers.

Patrick's Bookmark

Patrick has started reading "chapter books" this year at school.  He has been enjoying the stories of Adam Joshua and his friend Nelson by Janice Lee Smith.

So, of course, we needed a bookmark.  Patrick decided on colors and which punches to use.  He does not do subtle!
