Patriotic Wreath

Our card club challenge for July was to create something patriotic.  I don't send July 4th cards, so I chose to create a wreath for my door.  I had the wreath and the small star decorations, so I just added red, white, and blue stars cut from dies and punches.  I hot glued them on.  Of course, I added a flag also!

This card is also for Malanie's friend.  I love Stampin' Up's matching sets; I used three different stamp sets that coordinated perfectly!  This was also the first time I used the Striped Scallop die.  I used wax paper with the die -- it came out cleanly and easily!

Wedding: Pink, Green, and Gray Congratulations

I am not too fond of gray, but I went with the bride's colors.  This card was for a friend of Malanie.

I cut the dress with an oval die, but realized my oval layers wouldn't work on the card.  So I joined the oval with scalloped circles.  Interesting effect that worked.
