Sympathy: Thinking of You Silhouette Poppies

Another sympathy card.  I watercolored the background, die cut the opening and the poppies, and tucked the poppies into the frame.  Love the simple design.

Birthday: Watercolor, Flowers, and a "Whoosh"

 

  

This is birthday season for me.  I used the "whoosh" from the Stampin' Up! set Star of Light.  With spritzing of water, most of the stars in the "whoosh" were blended into the colors.  However, I love the effect.  

Both flowers were stamped and die cut using card stock rather than watercolor paper.  The look was too harsh for me, so I spritzed them also.  Then I shaped the flower while still damp.  The flowers stayed in perfect shape when dry!

Birthday: Gymnast Shooting Star

What a fun card!  I love the Shooting Star dies!  The gymnast stamps are an old set I found somewhere.  I don't know the company that made them.
