This is for a challenge Let's Squash It.  The challenge is for a geometric embossing folder and metal.  This challenge is their very first challenge.

Basket for Eggs

This month's challenge was to create something 3D.  Since I have four hens, I often have more eggs than I can eat.

The box is 4"x4"x4", but I could have made it 3" tall. I cut an egg carton to fit into the box and cushion the eggs.

Autumn 2x2 Square Challenge

This month's challenge was to create a 2x2 square with an Autumn or Thanksgiving theme.  Aaron and I used the same stamps, but completely different results.

Both acorns were stamped and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I colored mine with More Mustard and Early Espresso markers.  Aaron did not color her acorn because she stamped on More Mustard.

I used Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake with the sentiment traditionally placed.  Aaron used Chocolate Chip for the background and More Mustard to stamp on.  She punched the sentiment and sponged the edge.  Aaron also placed the sentiment non-traditionally, but with a great result.

The stamps and die are from My Daily Bread.

Challenge Card: Window Frame Sixxiz Die

The card challenge this month was to use a scrap cut from the Sixxiz Window Frame die.  I created a scene using the tree stamp and sponging the rest.  Then I cut the piece into four unequal pieces.  I adhered them on a black cut creating the window frame appearance.

I used black, bermuda bay, and coastal cabana for the colors.  I made the card 5"x5" because I wanted the card to be symmetrical.
