Birthday: Emboss and Die Duo

Cuttlebug has embossing and cutting die duos; I used the Birthday Wishes Duo. I embossed the candles on purple metalllic card stock. I also used their cutting die with the same purple metallic for the inside of the card. I put blue flame-shaped stickers inside some of the flames. Then I tied the white ribbon around the candles.

Birthday: Made by my Sister

My sister Connie took tissue paper, wrinkled it up, smoothed it out, then glued it on the green card stock. (The tissue paper was recycled wrapping, which makes it even better.)

She also used twine in the sliders die, a punched flower with a button center, and rubber stamps.

Beautiful card!

Birthday Card for my Brother

I love this card, both for the simplicity and beauty.
I embossed the Happy Birthday onto the blue card stock, putting it onto the white card.

I used the charms die on the white card stock, then embossed the charm with the happy birthday. I tied the charm onto the ribbon.

The inside has an Irish blessing from a rubber stamp.

I used:
  • Blue and white card stock
  • Happy Birthday embossing folder
  • Charms die
  • Blue ribbon
  • Rubber stamps

Birthday Card for my 102-Year-Old Grandmother

My grandmother celebrated her 102nd birthday!

I used the embossing with the purple, putting it on the white card. I used the charms die, then embossed it with the flower. Then I tied the ribbon. The inside was very simple with a happy birthday stamp.

I used:
  • Purple and white card stock
  • Stylized flower embossing folder
  • Charms die
  • Purple ribbon
  • Rubber stamps

Thank You Card Made Quickly

I used:
  • blue and white card stock
  • thank-you embossing folder
  • blue ribbon
  • blue stick on decorations
  • rubber stamps (inside)
  • computer generated verse (inside)
I needed nine thank-you cards, so I was looking for something fairly simple. I embossed the thank-you on white with a blue card. I chose a ribbon that would still show the message.

The inside had a computer generated paragraph, a rubber stamped "thank you", and enough room for a handwritten message.

The envelope used the rubber stamp that I used on the back of the card.

Birthday: Stylized Flower with Charm

I used the charms die and then embossed the flower on it. I tied the embossed charm to the ribbon. The inside of the card has the verse on the left and the happy birthday on the right.

I used:
  • Blue and white card stock
  • Charms dies
  • Stylized Flowers embossing folder
  • Blue ribbon
  • Blue gem stick-ons
  • Rubber stamps

Christmas: Lace Tree in Metallic

I had some trouble with the new Lace Tree Embossing Folder because of the size. After several attempts at creating a usable card, I ended up with this creation. I have a slightly smaller width, but the same length as the quarter card stock.

I used:
green metallic textured card stock
white card stock
Lace Tree Embossing
rubber stamps,
red and pearl stick-ons
white ribbon.

Sympathy: Thinking of You

I used:
Blue and white card stock
Pale blue ribbon
Crystal Jewel stick-ons
Embossing folder D'vine Swirls
Rubber stamps
Foam stick-ons

Thank You: Post Card

I used:
  • White and red card stock
  • Rubber stamps for front
  • Embossing folder Thanks
I cut the card stock into fourths, which is the smallest size the post office allows to be mailed.

Using the white card stock for the front, I used three stamps: Thanks so much with a flower, You Rock, and the stamp frame. I used the same color of ink as I chose for the embossed card stock on the back.

For the back, I embossed the red (or color of choice) card stock with the Thanks folder. Then I taped the front and back together. Done! Very fast card.

Christmas: Warm Winter Wishes

I used:
  • Snowflake embossing folder
  • White and purple card stock
  • Snowflake punch
  • Pearl stick-ons
  • Foam stickies for depth
  • Corner rounder
  • White ribbon
  • Snowflake rubber stamp
  • Warm Winter Wishes rubber stamp for inside verse

I used white card stock for the card; then I embossed the snowflake on white also. I put a lavender snowflake on white, then on the purple card stock, rounding the corners. I elevated this piece on foam for depth. I put the ribbon under the elevated snowflake for variety.

I used the rubber stamp Warm Winter Wishes for the inside verse.

Birthday: Boy Running with Balloon

I used:
embossing folder Numbers
off-white card stock
blue card stock
blue striped ribbon
rubber stamps
corner rounder
computer printed verse for inside

I made this card for my son's 21st birthday.

The inside verse was giving me some trouble; I just didn't have a stamp that said what I wanted. So, I went to my computer. I found a verse I liked and printed it on card stock. I discovered to match the color of the ink used on the front, I had to print in color for my verse.
