Birthday Squares

Using Stampin' Up's postage stamp punch, triple flower punch, and 1 1/4" punches, this card made itself. I used blue and white card stock, a blue striped designer paper, and the new postage size stamps. A little bling and some matching ribbon on the side and it is done.

The picture does not do justice to the card. The designer paper is not purple -- it really is blue.

CMIT Featured Designer Challenge

Over at the Creating Memories in Time blog, their challenge this month is to post a Mother's Day card. This is the card I submitted.

This card utilized new (for me) stamps, embossing folder, and a punch. I used Wild Wasabi and white card stock. The tulip frame embossing folder has such a great impression. I also just received the four frames stamp set and the decorative label punch. Boy, did I use a lot of new items!

The wild wasabi green decorative label punches are from the same punch as the white. I cut two pieces diagonally and pulled them out just a bit to look like layering. I mounted the punched label piece on dimensionals and added bling.

Birthday: Swirls with Punched Heart

My mom's birthday is coming up soon, but we usually celebrate early. I used brown, pink, and white card stock. The embossing folder is from Stampin' Up! as is the Punched Potpourri heart. I used brown ink and colored with green and pink for the flowers. The happy birthday sentiment was punched with the word window punch, but cut with scissors to look like a banner. The white brad attached the banner to the heart, which is mounted on a large scallop circle and dimensionals. All of the edges were sponged with brown.

Happy 82nd, Mom!

Birthday: Apple Blossoms in Pink

A good friend of mine has a birthday this week. I chose pink and rose for the card stock. I used Stampin' Up's Tulip Frame embossing folder, Easter Blossoms stamp set, and word window and label punches. I colored the blossoms and mounted the pieces on dimensionals. I added bling to the blossoms for a little sparkle.

Happy Birthday, Dude!

My son's birthday is soon and he definitely needs a manly card. I used the new Hero Arts set Going for the truck and arrow stamps. I bought the dude stamp on Ebay, but I don't know the maker. Super easy card and no bling.
