Birthday: Swirls with Punched Heart

My mom's birthday is coming up soon, but we usually celebrate early. I used brown, pink, and white card stock. The embossing folder is from Stampin' Up! as is the Punched Potpourri heart. I used brown ink and colored with green and pink for the flowers. The happy birthday sentiment was punched with the word window punch, but cut with scissors to look like a banner. The white brad attached the banner to the heart, which is mounted on a large scallop circle and dimensionals. All of the edges were sponged with brown.

Happy 82nd, Mom!

3D Hearts

Experimenting with my heart punch and stamps, I stamped and punched three hearts out. Then I scored all three hearts through the center. I taped heart 1 to heart 2. Then I taped heart 2 to heart 3. Which created a 3D heart. The cards were fun to make.

New Baby: Fill Your Heart

My daughter's friends have a brand new baby boy! She chose a heart theme for this card. The Cuttlebug embossing folder created a heart background. Stampin' Up's heart stamps and punch created the falling hearts. The sentiment was outlined with white brads.

The inside was simple with more stamped and punched hearts with the tricycle stamp. A lot of room was needed on the inside for her 5 year old to sign his name!

Wedding: Love Birds

The bride and groom's colors are red and black, but I chose red and white for this card. I used Stampin' Up's Love You Much stamp set and their matching heart punches with real red paper and ink. I used a ticket punch with white brads for the love birds and put them on dimensionals. The hearts bordering the love birds are also on dimensionals. I used Cuttlebug's dotted swiss embossing folder as a base f0r the front of the card.

The inside of the card is a computer printed verse; I printed it in red ink also.
