The lattice die was used, then placed behind the frame cut out. Vellum was placed behind the lattice for an interesting effect. Soft Sky was used for the color.

Retirement: Feathers with Watercolor Background

Aaron has a coworker that is moving to a different department.  We used the stamp Watercolor Wash.  I am not sure I will use it as intended, but it gave a good beginning base for the water coloring.

Aaron needed a birthday card for a friend.  She used a double layer of butterflies, one of card stock and the other from vellum.

Birthday: Four Feathers with Vellum, Part 2

This is the second card with the same basic design.  I switched up a bit, but not much.  This is the original description:

I wanted to show how lightweight feathers are, so I used VersaMark on Vellum with a white embossing powder.  I also embossed the Gorgeous Grunge lines on the background and the sentiment.  I love how light and airy the feathers turned out.

Birthday: Four Feathers on Vellum

I wanted to show how lightweight feathers are, so I used VersaMark on Vellum with a white embossing powder.  I also embossed the Gorgeous Grunge lines on the background and the sentiment.  I love how light and airy the feathers turned out.

Birthday: Watercolor with Vellum

 Island Indigo, Wild Wasabi, and Whisper White are the colors used.  I used a base of Island Indigo with an embossed layer, also Island Indigo.  The Wild Wasabi was the base for the Whisper White. 

The white layer has randomly,  watercolor-stamped in both Island Indigo and Wild Wasabi inks.  I used the Happy Watercolor set of stamps.

The vellum was stamped with Versa Mark using Wildflower Meadow, and then embossed with white embossing powder. 

White ribbon and happy birthday were added to finish it off.  I enjoyed this card.

Lattice and Vellum in Window Frame

 Coastal Cabana was used on this quick and easy card.  Window frames and lattice dies were used.  Vellum was placed on the inside to hide how the lattice was attached.

Pearls and a ribbon were added.

On the inside of the card, I used the window frame die (at the same time I cut the front) for the sentiment.  I popped the sentiment up on a dimensional.

Use a Little Pickup

I used a vellum sheet to cover the Dusty Durango card stock. The vellum allows the background color to show through, but muted. I love the effect. The sentiment and pick up were stamped on whisper white using matching ink. I layered, sponged edges, colored, and added bling.

I really like the humor of the sentiment.

Vespa Adventure

I am the original owner of a 1981 Vespa; I still ride it to and from work! So, I had to get the new stamp set from Stampin' Up! I used lavender and white card stock. I covered the lavender with vellum, which gave the card a different look. I stamped and layered the Vespa and the sentiment. I sponged all edges. Vespas are the best!
