Thank You Wreath on a Flap

Soft Suede and Crumb Cake were made to go together.  I used an old set - Stampin' Up's Nellie the Nest Lady from 1997.

The card base is 4.25" by 5.5".  The folding piece is 8" by 5.25", scored at 2" and 4".

I love the way the branch at the bottom still meets even though it is two different images.  What a fun card.

Hope Your Day is Purrfect

I found the cat stamp at Michael's clearance and I had to buy it!  I cut out the "hope your day is purrfect!" from the SU Long Fellows stamp set.  I added bling and corner punched the image.  Love it!

I have gotten used to using clear stamps. In fact, I make most of my wood-mounted stamps into clear mounted stamps.  I peel the rubber off the wood and attach it to my clear blocks.  I still store the stamps on their original wood blocks just for convenience.

Summer Afternoon in Wisteria Wonder

This card uses the SU set Summer Afternoon, which is a new hostess set.  I love it!

I used Wisteria Wonder and Concord Crush card stock and Concord Crush ink.  I corner-punched the lower left corner and added pearls to the lower right corner of the image.

Birthday Blossoms - Bordering on Romance

This is the first time I have used this stamp set (SU's Bordering on Romance), but I am sure I will use it a lot more now.  I love it!

I had to cut the border stamp to stamp the sides.  Using clear stamps makes it easy to take apart and put back together.  I colored the blossoms to add a different feel to this card.

Sympathy Card for Loss of a Dog

This card uses the D is for Dog set from Stampin' Up! and a With Sympathy stamp that was from a very old set.  I added a ribbon and the sentiment inside the cards.

Sympathy Card for Loss of a Cat

This card uses the C is for Cat set from Stampin' Up! and a With Sympathy stamp that was from a very old set.  I added a small rhinestone for the cat's collar and a ribbon.  The rest of the card is quite simple.

Just Believe Silhouette

I have been busy with the chickens and building fences and enclosures.  However, it was good to get back in the stamping room.  This uses Stampin' Up's Just Believe set in Crushed Curry.  The main image was stamped and then stamped again without re-inking. The image and the sentiment were both sponged. The bling was added to the center of two of the flowers.

Wedding Triple Layer: Enjoy the Journey

Aaron has a wedding this week; their colors are wasabi green!  So, of course the triple layer with Wild Wasabi is our color, too.

The base layer color is Wild Wasabi.  The top layer color is Certainly Celery.  We chose a small flourish for the celery color and the script leaf for the wasabi color.  The leaf has a dainty print, so the images blended quite nicely.

The baker's twine and button were added between the second and third layers.

Enjoy the journey!
