Such a fun card to make a Christmas scene.  I used the Swirly Bird, Grand Madison Window, and the Windowsill Candles dies.

Money Holder with Moose Belly Band

The card stock base is 8 1/4" x 7"  scored on the 8 1/4 side at 3" and 6".  Using the Envelope Punch Board, along the 8 1/4 side, with the score lines horizontally, line up the left side of the paper and 3 1/2" and punch.  Then put the right edge of the paper to the edge of the punch board and punch.  With a paper trimmer, cut off the edge of the file and leave the tab.

Then glue or sticky tape the two sections together, leaving the tab on the top and a pocket for the money.  The DSP will be 6 3/8" x 2 1/4" for the front and 6 3/8" x 1" for the inside.  The belly band is 6 3/8" x 3/4", scored at 2 1/4" and 5 1/2".

Decorate as you would like.  I used the moose punch to put on the belly band.  The stamp is from the set Merriest Wishes.

Birthday: Enjoy Today with Alcohol Inks

Happy birthday, Aaron!  I just received the set Inspirational Cutting Dies from Patelai.  A fun set of dies to complement the alcohol ink background.

Notice the round circles in the background.  Those are made with my scoring tool; they create a wonderful change in the design.  Gems in the corner complete the balance.

Thankful: Alcohol Ink in Fall Colors

One sheet of alcohol ink paper makes four cards.  It is hard to believe the cards are cut from the same piece because the cards are so different.  The gold ink caught the camera flash, which is a bit distracting.

The Thankful die is new; it is a Hyling brand on Amazon.  Notice I had to put the die cut in a different position for each card, just depending on the coloration.

Floral Background Die from Alcohol Inks

I created a page of alcohol inks using fall colors for this card.  With the leftover piece, I cut the floral background die from poppystamps.com.  Stunning effect of the shine and color variation of the alcohol inks.

Birthday Unicorns: Outside the Box

Using My Favorite Things Unicorn stampa and matching dies with the Outside the Box Level Up dies, this birthday card was fun and whimsical.  The unicorns were die cut from an alcohol ink page we made.

My daughter and I made this for my five year old granddaughter,  Kahlan.

Birthday: Skeletal Leaves from Alcohol Inks

I created a page using alcohol inks.  I die cut the autumn colored sheet with Tim Holtz' Skeletal Leaves.  The alcohol ink pages are thicker than card stock, so the die cuts take more time to separate the die cuts.  Not more difficult, but a longer time.  The picture does not do the card justice - the clarity and glossiness doesn't come across.  Believe me, this is stunning.

The Skeletal Leaves die set is new to me.  I surely will use it again!

Alcohol Inks: One Sheet Makes Four Cards

The paper for alcohol ink comes in 8"x10".  The creation of the design is done on the full sheet and then cut into card size after the inks are dry.  I am always amazed how different each card is from the card that was made right next to it!

The word dies are from Tim Holtz which are new to me.

I have entered the cards at the NBUS Challenge for September.

Somebunny is Thinking of You - Outside the Box

My Favorite Things' Outside the Box Level Up is such a fun set of dies.  I used the stamp set Some Bunny, which is made to coordinate with the Outside the Box dies.  The grass is also a coordinating die set.

Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, and Mossy Meadow were the colors used.

Somebunny Appreciates You - Outside the Box

My daughter Aaron needed a creativity day, so she came over to do some crafting.  I love the stamp and die sets from My Favorite Things.  They match theme and size -- and are interchangeable.  The Outside the Box Level Up dies, the grass dies, and the stamp sets are a wonderful investment!  This card was very easy to put together.  And of course, it folds flat to fit into an envelope!

St. Patrick's Day: Irish Blessing

For St. Patrick's Day, I sent out cards instead of gathering.  We are still in Covid lockdown mode.

I used Pistachio Pudding and Mossy Meadow for my green colors.  The die cut and stamps are from My Daily Bread.  The Andes I taped onto a piece of cardstock.  From all reports, the candy was received intact!  I did have to put on extra postage, but everyone loved the candy.

Valentine: Fun to Hang With Pun

This year I sent out postcards to my friends and family instead of cards.  I love puns, so I really enjoyed this stamp set Valentine Riddles #3 from Inky Antics.
