Easel to Display School Pictures

2021-2022 School Pictures for Ella

The picture measures 3 1/2" x 4 1/2".

The picture holder measures 3 3/4" x 4 3/4", punched in the corner with a whale corner punch.

The easel front measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and is glued onto the Tim Holtz Sizzix Small Easel die cut.

The card stock must be a good, heavy card stock.  Otherwise, the easel doesn't have enough stability.

Birthday: Skeletal Leaves from Alcohol Inks

I created a page using alcohol inks.  I die cut the autumn colored sheet with Tim Holtz' Skeletal Leaves.  The alcohol ink pages are thicker than card stock, so the die cuts take more time to separate the die cuts.  Not more difficult, but a longer time.  The picture does not do the card justice - the clarity and glossiness doesn't come across.  Believe me, this is stunning.

The Skeletal Leaves die set is new to me.  I surely will use it again!

Mossy Meadow

Alcohol Inks: One Sheet Makes Four Cards

The paper for alcohol ink comes in 8"x10".  The creation of the design is done on the full sheet and then cut into card size after the inks are dry.  I am always amazed how different each card is from the card that was made right next to it!

The word dies are from Tim Holtz which are new to me.

I have entered the cards at the NBUS Challenge for September.

Easel Display of Alcohol Ink Creation

My first attempt at alcohol inks, thanks to Myriam's Nature.  I love Myriam's videos; I felt less intimidated.  My daughter made this for her friend.  My cards will be in the next post.

We used Jacquard Pinata alcohol inks.  We applied the ink to alcohol ink paper, added alcohol, and used a blow dryer to move the ink around.  Stunning effect!

The easel in the back is Sizzix Tim Holtz small easel.

Birthday: Cogs with Motorcycle in Red

Aaron made this card for a coworker.  It is the same card, but different colors,  as the card I made last week.

This card is a hodgepodge of old and new.  The motorcycle and sentiments are very old stamps.  The cogs were punched from the cog punch.  The metal cogs are from Tim Holtz.  The stamped cogs are from an Our Daily Bread Designs.  Real Red and Black are the colors.

Gift Card Bag Using Tim Holtz

We have a new Tim Holtz die for this darling bag.  The bag is 3" by 4" by 3/4", which is perfect for a gift card.  We used Stampin' Up's ornament stamps and punch to the to/from tag.  The gold ribbon tied the bag shut and attached the tag.

Love, love, love it!
