Birthday: Ragged Daisy Blessings

May your troubles be less and your blessings be more is one of my favorite Irish blessings.  I used both watercolor powder and watercolor with stamps on this card.  I sprinkled the powder on one side of the card and spritzed.  I used inked stamps on the other side, but I placed them in the spritzed water before I stamped them.  I have quite a bit of white still showing, which created an entirely new look to my watercoloring.

Birthday: Dandelion Wishes Watercolor

Stampin' Up!'s Dandelion Wishes gives a delicate impression.  A perfect impression for watercolor powders.  I wanted a pale background, so I sprinkled the powder on a silicone mat, sprayed water on the powder, and used a water painter to keep the powders less intense.

Blushing Blue
