Birthday Blossoms - Bordering on Romance

This is the first time I have used this stamp set (SU's Bordering on Romance), but I am sure I will use it a lot more now.  I love it! 

I had to cut the border stamp to stamp the sides.  Using clear stamps makes it easy to take apart and put back together.  I colored the blossoms to add a different feel to this card.

Fishing Mouse: Birthday Card for My Dad

My dad is the world's best and most dedicated fisherman; this is his birthday card. When I found the stamp at a garage sale this summer, and knew exactly how I would make this card. I stamped the image, colored with colored pencils, layered a bit, and was done. It went together quickly and easily. Not all of my cards are finished as planned.

Birthday Ballerina

My great-niece is having a ballerina party for her fifth birthday, so out come the ballerina stamps! I decided to try another one layer card -- using, of course, pink card stock.

My card stock was cut 4 1/4" square, with score lines at 1" and 1/2" in from each edge. The stamped ballerina shoes were colored and put on dimensionals. White dots were adhered to the scored boxes. I sponged the edge with purple ink.

The inside of the card is definitely for a five year old girl. Ballerina and flowers galore.

Thank You Card: Bird Punch

This is the first project with my new Stampin' Up bird punch. I punched out the bird in blue and the branch in brown. The bird and the wing are on dimensionals. I rounded the corners, added brads to the corners, and an eye for the bird. The eye was just a stick on dot. I did not use ribbon on the card because my son is sending out thank you cards from his graduation/birthday.

The back of the card has my trademark Made By Kathie stamp. The bird is a stamp I have had for 20 years or so. It seemed to go so well with the punch, I just had to use it. I colored the bird to match the front of the card.

Christmas Card

Using a copper metallic card stock with white card stock for the embossed pattern, I was going for the simple, elegant look. I used the new Cuttlebug Christmas embossing folder with the tree landscape. The inside of the card has two rubber stamped images. I colored the flame of the candle with yellow.

Christmas Gift Tags

Using my Cuttlebug dies to cut the tag shape and the scallop shapes made this a quick project. The tags are 2" by 2.75".

The red tag used a white scallop. I glued a punched snowflake and stamped Merry!

The white tag has a bubble background stamp, red scallop, white punched circle, and stamped and colored holly and ivy. I used a To, From stamp set in green.

The green tag used the snowflake stamp with Warm Winter Wishes embossed with pearl embossing powder.

I stamped the backs with a small "Stamped in Montana" with the shape of Montana.

Father's Day: Cabin in the Woods

I stamped the cabin on scrap paper and cut it out. Then I stamped the cabin on the card stock, placed the cut-out cabin directly on top, and then stamped the trees all around the cabin. The inside of the card is stamped Happy Father's Day.
