Humorous Birthday Card for Ladies

My friend Kathy gave me a store bought card a few years ago.  I loved the card and saved it until I could design my own card.  And tada...  here it is finally. 

I cut the dialog pieces off the dialog boxes because they were in the wrong location.  I thought the Hero Arts stamps were too small when I first got them, but I don't think the card could hold anything larger.

Fun card. 

You Rock for Bosses' Day

Aaron made a card for her boss for Bosses' Day.  Her boss does a lot of boarding, so she chose the skateboard stamp from Stampin' Up!

She used Old Olive and River Rock for her colors.  The sponging really made the card POP! 

We used Stampin' Up's new envelope board.  How fun and a perfect envelope!  My new favorite toy.

Lattice and Vellum in Window Frame

 Coastal Cabana was used on this quick and easy card.  Window frames and lattice dies were used.  Vellum was placed on the inside to hide how the lattice was attached.

Pearls and a ribbon were added.

On the inside of the card, I used the window frame die (at the same time I cut the front) for the sentiment.  I popped the sentiment up on a dimensional.

Wedding: Faith Hope Love Center Step Card

My son's brother-in-law is getting married this weekend.  Their colors are pink and light brown.  I used Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride, and Regal Rose.  

The stamps are from our Daily Bread.  I used the new Stampin' Up! pansy punch with the matching stamp set.  The punch is not easy to line up correctly with the stamped image.  What a shame.

I have not used stamps from our Daily Bread before, but I am quite pleased.  The stamps printed great, even with the tiny detail.

The center step dimensions took a bit to figure out, but this stamp set needed the center step. 

Sympathy: Thinking of You

Soft Suede and Crumb Cake inks and papers were used.  The branch stamp (Stampin' Up's Thoughts and Prayers stamp set) was randomly stamped on the background piece, then the sandpaper background stamped was stamped over the entire back.  Love the look!

Pearls and a sheer bow were added.  I like the simple, elegant design.
