A fun card.  I have had all of the components that made this card for quite a while, but I have never used them.  I really like Lost Lagoon with Basic Black for a striking color combination.

I have been playing with the new set Thoughtful Branches; it is a nice, versatile set.  I used a glimmery brown paper for the tree and matting layer.  You can't tell by the picture, but it really makes the tree pop!

Even though this looks like a one layer card, I put one 4.25 x 5.5 layer on the card base; I prefer a stiffer card.  The stamps A cup of cheer and Take Life One Cup at a Time are clear stamps; I do not know the manufacturer because I found them at a garage sale.

Back Pack Name Plate

My grandson, Jakob, is starting kindergarten this fall.  He needed to put his name on a backpack.  We found a bag with a clear pocket, which I was able to create his name plate.
