All Occasion: Floral Watercolor with Gold Embossing
I used watercolor paper with sponges for a smooth transition of color. The picture does not do justice; the center is quite yellow out to dark orange on the edges. I embossed Flowering Flourishes with gold embossing powder before I started. Then I sponged the color on. After the paper was dry, I used the background stamp and added the strips and sponged flowers. The strips were also stamped with a background stamp and lightly sponged.

Christmas: Pop-Up Gift Card Holder
Another gift card holder. I used Lawn Fawn's Gift Card Pop-up for the inside of the card. I decorated the front of the card, then adhered the pop-up along the fold of the card. Another easy gift card holder.

Christmas: Watercolor Powder and Embossed Poinsettias
I have discovered watercolor powder! Oh my goodness, I love the vibrant colors and the ease of use.
I used Versa Mark ink with the holly and poinsettias and embossed with silver embossing powder. Then I sprinkled the watercolor powder onto the card and spritzed. And the powder created this beautiful background.

Birthday: Card in a Box with Gift Card
Another card in a box, this time for a teenage boy. I enjoy the challenge of finding related items to decorate the box. I use many different stamp and die sets. The balloons are stamped and colored on watercolor paper and misted.
The box is too big for a standard size envelope, so I made the envelope out the same card stock as the box.
The gift card is on the back. I used a die from Simon Says Stamps to attach the gift card.

Storage for Ink Pads
I had run out of room with my ink pad storage. I ran across a blog that showed this nifty idea. Sold on Amazon, the Media Stix are for storing CDs. However, the Stampin' Up! ink pads fit like a glove! Each set of Media Stix holds 60 ink pads. I bought two sets; now I can store my ink pads in style!
The media sticks are attached to the wall. They are at a slight angle, but I have not had any trouble with the ink running.

Thank You: Watercolor Embossed
A quick thank you for a coworker. She loaned me some money and saved me 20 minutes! Inside the card is the two quarters she loaned me. I watercolored the background, then embossed with an old embossing folder. Quick and easy!

I watercolored the background, die cut the background with stitched shapes, die cut the poppies, and adhered it all together. I love the soft colors. The card stock is Pool Party.

Birthday: Watercolor Dragonfly Dreams

Birthday: Watercolor, Flowers, and a "Whoosh"
This is birthday season for me. I used the "whoosh" from the Stampin' Up! set Star of Light. With spritzing of water, most of the stars in the "whoosh" were blended into the colors. However, I love the effect.
Both flowers were stamped and die cut using card stock rather than watercolor paper. The look was too harsh for me, so I spritzed them also. Then I shaped the flower while still damp. The flowers stayed in perfect shape when dry!

Bookmark: Split with Fun Foam
Our Daily Bread Designs has bookmark stamps and matching dies. My grandson, Jakob, wanted to make another bookmark. I really like the split bookmark, but it was too flimsy with a single layer of card stock. I chose Fun Foam to make the bookmark more sturdy.
The book is A-Z Beekeeping with the Slovenian Hive by Janko Bozic. I liked the pretty cover.

Gift Bags for Father's Day Gifts
I used the Stampin' Up! gift box punch board for these cute boxes. I can never remember how to use the punch board, so I don't use the punch board as often as I could.
The boxes use the small size on the board. The card stock was cut 10" x 6.5".
You're Sublime is used for the tag.

Bookmark: Glittery Dinosaurs!
When my grandchildren are allowed to pick out their own paper, they usually have glitter paper in mind! Jakob just finished kindergarten and is reading every day so he can be ready for first grade in the fall. This is the bookmark he designed - until I can find a dragon stamp for his bookmark. 😊
Bermuda Bay and silver glitter paper are his colors of choice. Old Bones and the matching dies (Dave's Dies) were his choice of designs.
