I love the metallic look.  I started with a base of aluminum foil, ran the base through the Cuttlebug, then rubbed black Staz On to the base.  Then I used Versa Mark and the embossing powders in layers.  The die cut words were layered onto gold foil paper.  Amazing look that the picture does not do justice.

Thank You: Watercolor Embossed

A quick thank you for a coworker.  She loaned me some money and saved me 20 minutes!  Inside the card is the two quarters she loaned me.  I watercolored the background, then embossed with an old embossing folder.  Quick and easy!

Birthday: Patchwork of Embossing!

I did some trial and error with the size of the colored rectangles.  I ended up with:

Upper left:  1.25" x 1.25"
Upper right:  2.25" x 3.5"
Lower left:  1.25" x 3.5"
Lower right:  1.25" x 2.25"

I used the smallest oval in the Stitched Shapes dies.

Sympathy: Sharing in Your Sorrow

I absolutely love how this card went together.  I seldom use River Rock, but it really accented the Night of Navy.  The tulip frame folder makes the card simple, yet elegant.

Birthday: Embossed Squares

This is a fun card.  Each rectangle is 1 1/4" x 1 1/2", but I still needed the rectangular piece at the bottom.  I used the buttons to make the rectangular piece as part of the design.  The colors are not true, but I could not get the computer to "blue" the colors.

The rectangles are 1" x 1.5".  The next time I use this design, I might make them .25" bigger on each side.  The twine was too heavy for glue dots, so I used glue to hold it all together.
