Birthday Card for my Brother: Alphabet Soup
Manly cards are difficult for me. I used a ribbon on this card -- and I was debating whether to use twine instead. I debated whether to put my jewels in the corner, but I compromised and put white dots instead.
I chose yellow and white card stock with an orange ink for the stamps. I used the Happy Birthday embossing folder from Cuttlebug and the alphabet soup stamp from Stampin' Up for the cover.
I rounded the outside corners, added a ribbon, and the white dots.
Inside I used my new acrylic stamps! I think I am going to really enjoy acrylic stamps for making cards. The variety of acrylic stamps is almost overwhelming.
