With Heartfelt Sympathy

I used the pastel green card stock for the card base. I used Cuttlebug's D'Vine Swirls embossing folder with white card stock for the next layer. I printed the verse with the computer. I have quite a few sympathy stamps, but none seemed right for this card. I used dimensionals, stick-on pearls, and ribbon to complete the front.

The inside of the card was also printed on the computer. I could not decide which verse to use, so I used both. I folded the white into the green which creates a thicker fold than normal.

The back of the card has my trade mark Made by Kathie stamp and the ivy. I often use ivy for sympathy cards. Ivy grows spirally therefore relates to the cyclic rhythms of the universe, life, death, and rebirth. Ivy can grow, spread and flourish under many conditions... cultivated land and wasteland... light or near darkness... fertile soil or upon rubble and stones. As humans do.
