I used Stampin' Up's new Extra Large Cogs Punch to create a simple, masculine birthday card. I used black card stock for the card and silver metallic card stock for the cogs.
I glued the cogs onto the card; I stamped the greeting and attached it with dimensionals. The inside of the card has a stamped Irish blessing. And no ribbons!
Manly cards are difficult for a couple of reasons. First, men do NOT want or need ribbon. I like to finish a card with ribbon; I need to control this impulse. Secondly, there are not many stamps, punches, embellishments, etc. that are geared for men. I walked the aisles of Hobby Lobby and would not/could not purchase anything that struck me as masculine. I digress.
