Pansy Boxes
The small boxes came from dies. The large boxes use a full sheet of card stock. The inspiration for the large box came from Splitcoaststampers. The inspiration for the pansy came from Gretchen Barron.
Each pansy is made from two punched butterflies; I used yellow card stock. I wet the butterflies completely with water from a spray bottle. Then, using purple ink refiller and a small paint brush, I dabbed the center and the edges of the butterflies. Then I let them dry. When the butterflies were almost dry, I curled the edges with a pencil. The brad connected the butterflies; the black lines completed the look.
This box was just a little larger, so I was able to put two pansies on the box. I love this!
