Father's Day: Silhouette

I have had this Cuttlebug embossing folder for quite a while, but had not used it. I saw this video by Dawn Griffith -- and I was inspired!

I used dark brown card stock for the base of the card. I used a pumpkin orange for the embossed silhouette. I used yellow card stock for the sun, cut from a 1" circle punch. The sentiment used the oval and scallop oval punches and is attached with dimensionals.

The sun was "blurred" by using chalk in different shades of yellow, brown, and oranges. The picture doesn't show very well how muted the yellow of the sun looked. It was a nice effect.
