Heart Candles

I found 18 of these darling glass, heart-shaped candles for 10 cents each. I, of course, bought them all. I layered four pieces of tissue paper between plain copy paper - top and bottom. This gave me 6 layers total to punch with the heart punch.

Normally, I stamp the paper and then punch it out. However, with the tissue paper, you punch first and then stamp. It is more difficult to stamp perfectly.

Then, pierce the tissue paper where the wick is; put the tissue paper over the candle. Using a heat tool, melt the wax until the tissue paper is covered. Be careful not to burn the wick!

This is a fast project -- with great results.
